3/1/99: Packed up. Dinner was delicious but the imminent departure gave a sad flavor even to the food. Dad and Mom took us to the airport, and we were off, and headed back to the mainland, via Honolulu.
3/1/24: *During our 1999 stay with Dad & Mom at the end of our round-the-world trip, we did not take many photos. So, I am posting photos and stories from some of our other trips to Maui over the years.
Over the years we have visited Maui many times. It has become a tradition that our final day on the island before returning to Chicago is another visit to Maluaka Beach in Makena for one more sunset. Here are a few more photos of the old family land…
