10/28/98: Sadly, I dropped the video camera. Not only can we not continue with the interviews, but we’ll have to pay for a new camera… I cobbled together the video clips and scans of still photos that we had so far, and edited it on the PowerBook laptop… We took Carl and Karen to a Dim Sum lunch today, as a small way to say thanks for a fun time and for sharing their stories and lives with us… After watching the edited video back at the apartment, Karen made banana splits for dessert, and then we packed up for our next travel day…
