2/1/99: Spent some time at the library. Checked out a new job searching website called monster.com, and began the process of looking for jobs. We’ll be getting back to Chicago next month, and It is going to be difficult to shift back into that gear! This is the beginning of the end of our trip around the world…
NOTE: The photo above the ocean pounding the rocks at Keanae Peninsula. We did not go out to Hana while on Maui in 1998, but I am posting some photos from that side of the island in the next few posts anyway. We always stop at this tiny little village at Keanae when we take the road to Hana, because there is a terrific little store that sells home-made banana bread to the tourists who are wise enough to slow down and enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing.
