11/24/98: Travel day… The ride in the back of the pick-up truck made it safely over that rickety bridge… The ferry boat to Krabi was also uneventful… Then a bus to Surat Thanin and a train back to Bangkok… After 10 days off the grid, we came back to an email in-box that had exploded… Ruth’s mom had been contacting all of the people we have been visiting as well as those we have not yet visited trying to find us… And they all, in turn, were contacting us too…
