7/26/98: Wow!!! What a day! Attended the service at New Life Church… three hours… Together with Christians from India, Iraq, Kenya, US (besides us)… Prophetic words and interpretations… Invited to share a testimony of God’s work in our lives… Ate lunch out with the worship band, and made a dear, new friend in Rokny P… Welcomed into home of Christian family living in extreme poverty under the stairwell of an apartment building and heard their testimony of miracles and wonders… Invited to join a house church social gathering at Chowpatty Beach (Mumbai’s version of Navy Pier in Chicago, or Cony Island in NYC) where we got to share the Gospel with others… Ended the day with prayer and fellowship with a family in their home on Malabar Hill… The day was like a fresh sunrise for my soul, driving away the fog of melancholy…
